BRTC Announces 2024 Commencement Keynote Speaker

Thirty-five-year employee and BRTC Automotive Technology Instructor Larry “Butch†Dail of Ravenden has been named the 91¿ì²¥ (BRTC) Spring 2024 commencement keynote speaker.

Dail has been BRTC’s Automotive Collision Technology instructor for over 34 years. He began his tenure at 91¿ì²¥ River Vo-Tech in 1987 before the school became 91¿ì²¥ in 1991.

Dail has been married to his wife, Doris, for 49 years. They have three children: Scotty, Anthony, and Angela. They have five grandchildren, Zack, Colton, Landon, Kayden, and Dawson, and two great-grandchildren, Adlee and McKinley Grace.

In addition to working at BRTC and taking care of his family, Dail is a community volunteer. Dail has served on the Ravenden City Council, as Ravenden Fire Chief, and is the song leader at Ravenden Baptist Church.

Commencement will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 9 in the Randolph County Development Center. The event is free and open to the public.
